Decent stay with a few minor issues

great locationspacious lodgenearby parkpoor signagedistant parkinguphill distance
The location is great (just off the M1). The lodge felt spacious. I also found it clean. The park being right next to a small play area was a plus for the kids.
I requested disabled parking. It was located in the main car park, quite far from the hotel (over 500m, uphill). The distance, especially with luggage and in the rain, proved difficult for me.

splendid family stay

the lodge offered generous space and maintained excellent cleanliness. i found modern facilities particularly useful. its location inside the theme park provided a uniquely quiet and secure environment for the night.
i noted there was insufficient cookware. only a single pan and a small baking tray were available.

The curiosity cafe provided a good evening meal and friendly service. it's worth noting that i didn't see many dining options open. Potentially due to the time of the week, and the cafe was a welcome find.
Facilities

the lodges included towels, shower gel, and enough tea and coffee supplies. i liked that washing up liquid was available, we loved the convenience it added to our stay! it's a thoughtfully provided set of amenities.

The location WAS excellent. Comfy mattresses added to the overnight experience though, I appreciated that hand towels and washing up stuff was included. The walk into the park was really short.
I found no proper signage to indicate where you should book in, sadly. I requested disabled parking, though it was located in the main carpark. It was quite a distance, with luggage.
